Well governed

ENSURING LONG-TERM BUSINESS STABILITY

To remain relevant today – and tomorrow – we need to build a strong organization that can withstand external factors, regardless of the challenges we face. To achieve good corporate governance, we work both to ensure that we are and remain a well-managed company, and to build a resilient value chain.

Secure a well-managed company

Companies that do the right thing build trust over time with customers and other stakeholders. Our ambition is to be a Trusted Sustainability Leader – with a way of working that is open, structured, and long-term. This provides confidence that Duni Group takes responsibility for both what we do and what we say.

Business sustainability is about managing with long-term perspective and responsibility. It encompasses not only financial decisions but also social dimensions. Through clear policies and guidelines, we aim to provide our employees with the right conditions to make wise decisions while preventing unethical behavior, which in turn forms the foundation for building trust and creating customer value.

Build a resilient value chain

A resilient value chain with strong resistance not only helps us withstand external events such as climate change and supply disruptions. By minimizing interruptions, we also strengthen our competitiveness and become a trusted partner.

Our proactive approach to compliance with legislation strengthens us as a company. Implementing compliance measures in advance, before external requirements come into force, ensures that we are ready to meet future needs and can mitigate or avoid any constraints, inefficiencies or overly expensive solutions. This is why we conducted our first materiality assessment already in 2022, for example, three years before it was mandatory to do so.

Here are three more ways we are working to build a resilient value chain:

  • We measure our sustainability performance over time according to EcoVadis.
  • We secure and follow up on our suppliers’ signatures and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
  • We educate our employees in cybersecurity and anti-corruption.

Well governed linked to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

To strengthen the work for sustainable development, all the world’s countries must achieve a partnership between their governments, the private sector and civil society. With our ambition to be a trusted sustainability leader, we are an active player in enabling this partnership.

Partnership for the goals

Sustainable development requires collaboration and an openness to new perspectives. We must foster trust between all parties to build long-term relationships based on shared visions and goals.

Sustainability management

Our Board of Directors has the ultimate responsibility for the sustainable and responsible management of our company. The Board has delegated operational responsibility for our business sustainability to our CEO. Our sustainability work is guided by our sustainability policies.

Our sustainability department coordinates our work, but the day-to-day responsibility for sustainability issues is delegated to various functions and projects within our organization. We integrate important sustainability issues into our project management model and the relevant sustainability objectives are followed up in each of our projects.

Code of conduct and policies

EcoVadis gold level in 2025

We improved our score from 77 (2024) to 79 points to strengthen our gold ranking in 2025, placing us among the top 3% of all companies in the paper and cardboard industry.

EcoVadis is an independent platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of businesses, based on official documentation from over 130,000 companies worldwide.

Supplier signature of Code of Conduct:

100 %

A high percentage of signatories to our Code of Conduct shows that our suppliers strive for fair working conditions and act in adherence to our Code of Conduct. This has a positive impact on people and society across the entire value chain. Fair supplier relationships enable long-term collaborations that promote innovation and increase the operational efficiency of our business.
