High-quality standards and production reliability are integral to our philosophy. Located strategically in Germany, we currently serve over 60 markets worldwide.
Paper + Design is a leading supplier of tabletop products, including napkins, tablecloths, and candles. We craft our high-quality products from environmentally sourced raw materials.
The company was founded in 1999 in Wolkenstein, Saxony, in Germany. One of the site’s strengths is ensuring short processing times and flexible order fulfillment across Europe and worldwide.
In 2014, we became part of the Duni Group. We also introduced our self-developed digital printing press – the first for napkin printing. Since then, we have expanded our printing capabilities significantly. Today, we run a state-of-the-art printing business.

Brilliant 8-color print
Our flexographic printing machines, with eight inking units, ensure brilliant colors and photo-realistic design prints for napkin production and all small-format items.
Engraving on site
Our subsidiary, Flexogravur GmbH, is an advanced specialist in elastomeric and endless flexographic print forms.
Embossing
Using embossing, patterns and reliefs on printed napkins can be elevated palpably.
Digital printing
Digital printing is the key to optimizing your brand presence with personalized products. We employ the latest digital printing technology for napkins and toilet paper, making small quantities possible – perfect for private occasions or promotional purposes.

Certifications prove our serious sustainability work
At Paper + Design, we firmly believe that productivity and environmental awareness go hand in hand. We support using renewable raw materials, mainly wood, and have been FSC®-certified since 2008. Our products are also possible to get with OK Compost certification as well as the Swan label. Our environmental protection commitment was established also in 2008 according to ISO 14001 and EMAS and is revalidated regularly. Additionally, we have a valid FEM certification.

Paper + Design’s ISO 9001 certification has been in place since 2010. It guarantees our product quality and ensures the continuous improvement of our operational processes.
Our employees and customers can trust our commitment to social responsibility. Since 2012, we have used the Sedex capabilities focusing on workplace health and safety, environmental practices, and fair business operations.
The company’s product safety work is certified according to the international standards for BRC and IFS HPC. These standards allow us to evaluate safety and hygiene standards internally and externally to protect and develop our product range.

Factory outlet and showroom
Paper + Design offers all our collections, covering all seasons – more than 1,500 design articles – all year round at our 200 m2 factory outlet and showroom in Wolkenstein. Here, you can explore our broad product range, which includes printed and embossed napkins, table covers and runners, and candles. You will also find Duni products, and you can easily mix and match colors and materials from both brand portfolios.
