Tomas Gustafsson has been appointed President and CEO of Duni AB effective December 1, 2012.

Tomas Gustafsson has been appointed President and CEO of Duni AB effective December 1, 2012. He has been a member of the Duni AB’s board of directors since May 2009.

Tomas has a long experience of fast moving consumer goods, both from national and international businesses. Having served in senior executive positions at Spendrups Bryggeri AB, Brämhults Juice AB and Eckes Granini GmbH, he is well experienced in the HORECA-sector, which is also Duni's main market. Tomas’ most recent position is at Mellby Gård AB, where he is overseeing the group’s consumer goods companies and, before that, he served as president and CEO of 2EGroupAB(publ).

“Tomas possesses a wealth of industry experience and has demonstrated a proven ability to create growth and develop strong brands. Thus, we believe that Tomas will be an excellent CEO for Duni,” says Duni AB’s Chairman, Anders Bülow.

“Duni is a sound company which enjoys leading positions on several markets. After having served on the Duni board for three years, I’m excited to soon take on an executive role and work with the company's opportunities and challenges,” saysTomas Gustafsson.

During Fredrik von Oelreich’s tenure as President and CEO, since 2007, Duni has become established as a listed company on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. During the past five years, Duni has reinforced its position as market leader and significant investments have been made including, among other things, development and launch of a new tablecover material – Evolin®.

“We thank Fredrik von Oelreich, who is leaving a very well-managed company. Under Fredrik's leadership, since its IPO, Duni has enjoyed strong profitability in what, at times, have been a turbulent world, and has generated strong cash flows – thanks to which Duni is a financially stable company. Duni is thereby well-positioned for future growth,” says Anders Bülow.
